[About participation and entry]

Q1. Can anyone participate?


A. Yes. Dancers between the ages of 4 and 25 are eligible. There are rules for each genre, so please check the "Participation Terms and Conditions."

Q2. How do I enter?


A. Please submit your video for video judging using the dedicated entry form (dwcentries.com).

Q3. When is the deadline?


A. The entry period for the Japan National Team Selection Video Screening is from November 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026.

Q4. Can I apply if I live overseas?


A. If you are a Japanese national or have a track record of activities in Japan, you can apply from overseas.

Q5. How will the results be announced?


A. After the deadline, the results will be announced on the official website approximately one week later, and will also be sent by email.

[About the tournament and activities]

Q6. What kind of competition is Dance World Cup?


A. It is one of the world's largest international dance competitions, with 120,000 participants from 73 countries annually. Every July, representatives from each country gather for the World Finals.

Q7. Where will the 2026 World Showdown be held?


A. It will be held in Dublin, Ireland from July 8th to 18th, 2026.

Q8. What are the benefits of being selected for Team Japan?


A. Not only will you have the opportunity to perform on the world stage, but you will also have the chance to receive scholarships, advance to ballet schools overseas, and build international networks.

Q9. I am considering sponsorship. What kind of plans do you have?


A. We offer sponsorship plans such as Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Please refer to the "Sponsorship Information" document for details.

Q10. Can this be used as a CSR or community contribution initiative?


A. Yes. DWC Japan selects a diverse range of dancers, regardless of whether they have a disability or not, or their background, and has been highly praised for its CSR and DEI activities.

Q11. What should I do if I would like to interview you?


A. Please contact us via the "Inquiries" page, clearly stating the name of the media outlet, the name of the person in charge, and the details of the interview you would like to do.

Q12. Can I use past Team Japan videos and photos?


A. Please clearly state the purpose of use and consult with the secretariat individually.
